RAD’s cell-site gateway and aggregation site gateways enable an easy transition to All-IP RAN by converging 2G, 3G and HSPA services over cost-effective Ethernet, IP or MPLS transport networks, using standard pseudowire modes. Supporting any access infrastructure, these radio access network gateways enable transparent delivery of voice and data traffic over copper, fiber, xDSL and microwave links. In addition to their SLA-based quality-of-service (QoS) capabilities, RAD’s RAN gateways provide robust clock synchronization per ITU-T G.823/G.824 and G.8261 specifications, thereby ensuring service quality in an All-IP mobile backhaul environment.
