RAD to Participate in EANTC's Multi-Vendor Interoperability Demonstrations
Will Showcase Implementation of Carrier Ethernet Services over Diverse Fixed and Wireless Transport Technologies
RAD Data Communications will participate in the multi-vendor interoperability demonstrations organized by the European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC) at the MPLS and Ethernet World Congress 2008 in Paris and the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, both of which will be held in February.
More than fifteen vendors are going to showcase the implementation of next-generation mobile backhaul solutions using Carrier Ethernet services over diverse fixed and wireless transport technologies, including MPLS, PBB and T-MPLS.
In a joint multi-vendor end-to-end network, real GSM and 3G services will be demonstrated, taking high availability, quality of service and clocking solutions into account.
