Reduce transport expenses for mobile broadband traffic with cost-effective HSDPA backhaul over ADSL2+DSLAM or wireless access infrastructure.
Our Solution
Because HSDPA (high-speed downlink packet access) traffic is asymmetric and bandwidth intensive, ADSL/ADSL2+ and wireless connections are a low-cost option for transporting HSDPA traffic to the RNC, eliminating expensive leased lines. RAD’s ACE-3105 multiservice cell site gateway, and ACE-3220 multiservice cell site gateway support HSDPA backhaul over ADSL2+ access lines, DSLAM or wireless infrastructure, providing the required bandwidth capacity at a fraction of the cost of E1/T1 connections. The ACE-3105 and ACE-3220 provide connectivity to ATM transport networks with end-to-end monitoring and QoS guarantees. Alternatively, they enable transmission over packet-switched networks via IP DSLAMs, using pseudowire functionality.
