Volker Bendzuweit is a graduate of the University of Bochum, where he majored in telecommunications engineering. He has 17 years of experience in the telecommunication business. Before joining RAD he served successfully as Sales Director at ITM Germany, a local RAD distributor.

In 2001 Volker Bendzuweit was appointed General Manager at RAD Data Communications with responsibility for the whole German market. Only a short time later his sales territory was expanded to Austria and Switzerland and furthermore increased by adding Scandinavia in 2010. At the beginning of 2011 Volker Bendzuweit was appointed Vice President of Key Carrier Accounts.

Volker Bendzuweit is known for his technical comprehension and has a wide range of knowledge of multiple technologies, i.e. 3G Backhaul, Pseudowire, Carrier Ethernet, ATM SDH and PDH.
